Everyday Utah

Utah is known for its national parks and iconic desert landscapes, but it is the everyday scenes that quietly won my heart. Coming from the lush beauty of the Carolinas, it took time for me to see what was here. But once I began photographing the land, I began to appreciate it. The rushing rivers and powerful waterfalls that block out the noises of life and allow me to focus. The rocks that used to be just “rocks” but now have come alive with color and light and majesty. The skies that go on forever. This gallery gathers those ordinary moments and familiar places that have slowly come to feel like home.
